Hi, I was adopted as a
ten-week-old kitten from Pet Pro Life at the PETsMART store in
Fountain Valley , and I just thought I'd send you a quick note to
tell you "thank you!"
My name was originally Stacy. But that name name didn't stick
with my new family. The night I arrived at my new home, my new
four-year-old "sister" came up with a new name—Pixie—which fits me
just fine.
I can tell that my new family really loves me and I do everything
I can to be a wonderful companion to them. It took me a couple days
to feell at home and come out from under the couch, table, chair,
etc., but once I did, my personality really blossomed. Everything I
do seems to be a total crack up to them.

My new "dad" didn't seem quite sure how I'd react to my
new "sister," but she was very patient during my "under the couch"
period. She kept telling him, "Don't worry Daddy; she'll come out
when she's ready. Just leave her alone. She'll be okay."
One of the first times he
left the two of us alone together, he came running into the room
thinking my "sister" was crying. I guess he assumed I had scratched
her or something. But when he got into the room, he saw that his
daughter had one of those wand teaser cat toys with a feathery thing
on it, and what he thought was crying turned out to be her laughing
her head off as I chased the toy around in circles and up and down.
The look on his face was wonderful!
I'm going to be a really great cat and I'm so glad they saved
me.
Steve, my new "dad," made me
a scratching post a few days after getting me and I really enjoy it.
I heard him say that he couldn't believe how much those things cost
in the stores. Now he's building them for other people. He's working
on his third one now. So if you know anyone who wants to have a post
built, he say's he's available for cheap.
As you can see, I've sent along a few pictures of me in my new
home. I hope you enjoy them. And thanks again for finding me such a
wonderful home.
Your friend,
Pixie
